Pakistani Fashion Models :
Nosheen Idrees, runner up 3 of Miss World Pakistan, represented Pakistan in Beijing, China for Miss Asia International 2008. Participation was an officer of Pakistan, and this was the second time Pakistan got representation in the Asian beauty pageant. Nosheen Idrees from Jhelum Pakistan said it was well received by the Chinese delegation and was a wonderful experience for her.
A communications student at the University of Sheffield, Nosheen Idrees expected to bring back a title that can put Pakistan as a country that has the most beautiful women in the world. In his own words, Nosheen Idrees says: "Pakistan is a country where the most beautiful women there and it's a shame that it is not recognized for it." Nosheen will change the perception of how the world looks at Pakistan and hopefully she says she may be able to spread the message of peace for their country and be a great ambassador for the youth. Nosheen Idrees also stated that the hospitality of the host country, China was amazing and would love to return for a one-day visit.
Sonia Ahmed, President of Miss Pakistan World said: "We are honored that Pakistan was involved in the Asian event as we have international competitions and parades Europeans, but it was wonderful to be in competition with Asian countries. Pakistan continues to grow in the pageant industry and in a short span of less than six years Pakistan has involved with many international competitions. Nosheen Idrees is an outstanding candidate who has represented Mexico, both locally and internationally in the beauty pageant industry . "
The Miss World Pakistan crowning his new queen in June 2009 and the selection of participants is being made at this time. With the completion of five international competitions this year, 2009 seems to be a promising year for the Miss Pakistan World beauty.
